Bringing together works from the Madre Collection alongside important public and private collections, the exhibition traces artistic practices that have shaped the city’s cultural landscape.

Inspired by Annie Ernaux’s “The Years”—where personal memories become collective history—Gli anni reflects on art as a lasting form of memory. While photographs and individual recollections may fade, artworks continue to preserve the stories, contexts, and experiences of the time in which they were created.
